During the Russian language assisting, I have improved the ability to be a part of the team with the teacher and a person who tries to learn the language. To balance the teaching and fun for the student and help on the suitable level. I am happy that I was given an opportunity to be a part of the assisting team.

Overall, my experience as a language assistant has been both meaningful and rewarding. Supporting students’ learning and seeing their progress has been a real source of motivation for me. Through this role, I strengthened key skills such as communication, adaptability, and classroom support. It has also helped me clarify my professional interests and will be valuable for my future career development.

My experience as a Language Assistant has been a key element in my settling in at Brunel. As a Franco-British student, I often struggle to meet people who relate to both British and French experience. During my experience as a Language Assistant, not only have I been able to find people with similar blended cultural backgrounds, but also been able to meet other people with other unusual cultural backgrounds
