Talk to your Department and ask for advice about withdrawal from an academic view point. You may wish to consider a period of temporary withdrawal (abeyance) or a change in mode of attendance. Discuss your situation with your Department as soon as you think that you may wish to leave your studies before completing your course. The earlier you talk to them the greater the possibility of finding the support you need.

Talk to the Student Centre to get details of your financial commitments to the University and payment options. You will need to consider the impact that withdrawing from University may have on any statutory funding or benefits you receive, including Council Tax exemption, bursary and scholarship entitlement.

If you're considering withdrawing due to financial concerns, consider a money and budgeting appointment with the Student Support and Welfare Team. They can help you to understand your financial situation and offer further guidance which may help you to continue your studies.

Talk to the Placement & Careers Centre, they provide impartial advice and information on transferring to another course or university, study and work options, alternative career opportunities, taking a year out and more.

Talk to the Disability and Dyslexia Service even if you have not previously declared a disability or specific learning difficulty to the University, but feel there might be some support you need to make your time at Brunel easier. They can provide assessment and adjustments for you if required.
